Dr. Ann Voss
Dr. Ann Voss is a neuro-developmental, therapeutic optometrist who has been serving the larger Houston area since 1989. Her passion and dedication to helping people with neurological, developmental, or functional vision challenges shines through with all her patients and office team. She graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin in Biology and the University of Houston, College of Optometry. In addition, she is a Fellow of the College of Visual Development and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.
As founder and managing partner of Bellaire Family Eye Care and the Vision Learning Center, Dr. Voss has assembled a top-notch team of outstanding optometrists, vision therapists, opticians, clinical contact lens specialists, and administrative service staff all committed to excellent care and service.
In her work with pediatrics and special needs patients, Dr. Voss seeks to find the best solutions to enhance life-long strong vision and optimal visual skills needed for learning and motor development. She teams up with her vision therapists and associated colleagues in neurology, ophthalmology, education, and psychology to collaterally serve her patient’s needs.
In addition, Dr. Voss is frequently asked to present to rehabilitation clinics, educational centers, and professional groups regarding developmental and rehabilitation treatment plans for visual disorders. She is an adjunct professor of the University of Houston, College of Optometry, teaching 4th year students in the clinical setting.
As a Diplomate with the American Board of Optometry, Dr. Voss is board certified to manage all eye care conditions. In addition to utilizing the best technology available in prescribing glasses and contact lenses, Dr. Voss seeks to help patients with preserving vision and preventing vision loss from glaucoma, diabetes, and macular degeneration.
Above all, Dr. Voss loves her patients, her staff and being able to make a difference each day with each patient. Outside of work, she loves family time the most, physical activities of all kinds including running, being at the lake, and enjoying nature.
