Vision Learning Center
Our clinic’s affiliated Vision Learning Center has been providing vision therapy for more than 30 years, continually evolving our approach as research, technology, and clinical understanding grow. While glasses and medical care are essential, some visual challenges involve how the eyes and brain work together — and those challenges often require a different kind of care.
Vision therapy is similar to physical therapy, but it focuses on the function of the visual system. Vision is both sensory and motor, and it develops over time. When that development is disrupted — whether in childhood or later in life — it can affect comfort, performance, learning, and daily activities.
The goal of vision therapy is to strengthen, restore, and integrate visual skills. Through personalized activities, tools, and guided exercises, therapy supports individuals with developmental challenges, visual disorders, or changes following injury or stroke.
The first step in determining whether you or your child may benefit from vision therapy is a comprehensive eye exam with one of our doctors who specialize in this care:
- Ann Voss, O.D., FOVRD
- Marcia Moore, O.D., FOVDR
- Steven Fate, O.D.
